I don't know about you, but I'm a huge fan of chocolate. Anything covered, dipped or filled with the sweet goodness of cocoa makes my stomach flip with excitement.
Which is what everyone wants from a reward! Sometimes it takes a chocolate chip cookie to really motivate a team. I know, because I work at 10 times the speed when there's a hunk of brownie or cookie in front of my nose.
So what's my favorite motivator? A tin full of chocolate covered pretzels. Get a large 3 way assorted tin of pretzels and reward a small team or group after meeting deadlines. Take a few minutes at the end of the day and socialize over delicious snacks. It'll give your employees a moment to chill out and will show how much you really appreciate their efforts.
